Shasan Piping Solution offers a wide range of stainless steel 347 flanges designed for safety, leak-free seals, reliability, and other industrial applications. We mass produce SS flanges, which are in high demand due to their excellent features. These flanges are very well known for their corrosion resistance and strength properties. Additionally, we always pay close attention to the quality of our flanges and strive to prevent the occurrence of defective products. We employ qualified and experienced professionals dedicated to our production lines.
Our inventory includes SS flanges in a variety of standards, customized dimensions, specifications, and specifications. The offered product range is also available in special dimensions for specific applications. Also, we manufacture these flanges with high quality according to nationally recognized standards and design regulations.
SS 347 is a stainless steel manufactured according to national and international standards. Stabilized with niobium. Therefore, this grade provides excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. However, when exposed to a temperature range of 450°C to 900°C, some grades within this range tend to form chromium carbide precipitates in the grain boundary regions. This makes the variety vulnerable to grain boundary attacks. With niobium, the stabilization level inhibits the formation of chromium carbide, thereby increasing its resistance to this type of corrosion. This alloy exhibits excellent weldability properties and properties common to standard austenitic steels. It also has high mechanical properties that ensure good ductility. Therefore, it is recommended for cold forming operations.
The main application of this alloy is for use in corrosive environments and at high temperatures. 347 stainless steel flanges are easily welded and fabricated using standard manufacturing processes. Processing speed is slow in cold forming conditions. However, it is similar to other standard qualities. Flange hot working temperatures range from 2100°F to 2250°F. It is recommended for forging, upsetting, and other hot forming operations. Hot forming at temperatures below 1700°F is not recommended. These flanges must be water quenched or annealed after hot forming to achieve higher corrosion resistance. Alloy 347 is fairly ductile and forms easily when cold worked. 347 stainless steel flanges are easily welded using most standard welding processes. However, no heat treatment is required after welding.
